    Series Lesson: Exploring Open Connection

    This week, Eric Hanus will be teaching. Here is his lesson description.

    “In my class I’lll be addressing the hidden desire of the Portland blues scene. That’s right, the elusive open position. From fundamentals to advanced movements, we’ll break out of the confines of closed position and explore the wonderful world of having some space between you and your partner.”

    This class is for anyone who has ever ended up in open position and didn’t know what to do. Come this Tuesday from 7:30-8:30pm.

    Holiday Dance

    This Tuesday the dance will be holiday themed. There will be free snacks and the ballroom will be decked in festive décor. Come dance in your finest holiday clothing.


  2. PB&J November Workshop

    All Levels Blues Workshop

    with Gideon and Mindy

     

    Gideon and Mindy will be helping us learn some new tricks and improve our connection at this all levels workshop. Dancers will be able to build on their fundamentals, learn some techniques for traveling, and add some tricky turns to their repertoire to help master floor craft. Join us on November 19th 11AM-4PM and be sure to preregister for $5 off the workshop!

    In order to help everyone attending in getting the most out of the workshop we will not be allowing people to enter after the first hour has passed. Please be sure to show up when the workshop starts!

    Next month we’ll be having Milo aka Mr Moo play for you! He has been featured at Urban and North West Blues Recess, and the Portland Underground Exchange. He is known for creating his own music and playing violin live to his songs. You will want to be there.
